Georgia LLC Filing Fees: Every Number for 2026

Georgia keeps its LLC fee schedule short, but the numbers changed on September 6, 2025 and plenty of pages online still quote the old ones. Here is the current schedule from the Secretary of State's Corporations Division, every figure all-in, plus what our services run.

Formation Filing Fee: $110 All-In

Filing Articles of Organization with the Georgia Secretary of State runs $110 total: a $100 filing fee plus a $10 service charge. Under the fee schedule effective September 6, 2025, that $110 applies identically online through eCorp and on paper (previously, online filing was $105). It is a one-time state charge, paid when the LLC is formed. The official schedule is posted here: Corporations Division filing fees (PDF).

Annual Registration Fee: $60 Per Year

Georgia's recurring filing, the Annual Registration (the state's version of an annual report), is $60 all-in each year: $50 statutory fee plus the $10 service charge, the same total online or by mail. The filing window runs January 1 through April 1, and Georgia lets you prepay: one year is $60, two consecutive years $120, three years $180. File after April 1 and a $25 late penalty is added; stay delinquent two consecutive years and the state can administratively dissolve the LLC. Full details on our annual requirements page.

Registered Agent Service: $99 Per Year

Every Georgia LLC must maintain a registered agent, and the state charges nothing for naming one. If you use our registered agent service, it is $99 per year as a standalone subscription. Order formation through us and the first year of registered agent service is included in the $199, with renewal at $99 per year afterward.

Changing Your Registered Agent: $60 or $30

Georgia has no standalone change-of-agent form. You update the agent either on the regular Annual Registration ($60, during the January 1 to April 1 window) or, at any other time, by filing the Amended Annual Registration for LLC, Form CD 920, for $30. The CD 920 template is on the SOS site.

Foreign LLC Registration: $225

An LLC formed in another state that wants to do business in Georgia files an Application for Certificate of Authority: $225 online, $235 on paper. Our foreign qualification service prepares and files it for $199 plus the state fees.

Expedited Processing

The Corporations Division offers optional expedited handling at three tiers on its published schedule: $100, $250, or $1,000 depending on the level of service. Standard processing carries no extra charge. See the SOS guide to filing fees and expedited processing for the current tier descriptions.

Filing yourself, the state's share is $110, nothing more, and your first Annual Registration ($60) does not come due until the calendar year after formation. Forming through us, the total is $309: our $199 service (first-year registered agent included) plus the $110 state fee.

What You Pay Each Year After

Two recurring numbers keep a Georgia LLC in good standing: the $60 Annual Registration to the state and, if we serve as your agent, $99 for registered agent service. That is $159 per year all-in.

How We Compare

Plenty of formation outfits advertise a low headline number and make it back on rush charges, compliance bundles, and renewal surprises. Our pricing is the whole story: $199 to form with year one of registered agent service included, $99 per year after that, and the state's fees passed through at exactly the amounts above.
